The client is a couple with three kids and one elderly. However, the property has only four bedrooms. Therefore, we propose to extend the GF bedroom and kitchen area to fit in a single bed for the home care maid and add sheer as a divider to create a semi-private space.

There is another sheer divider between the laundry area and dry kitchen due to the client don't like to see the powder room door and wet kitchen door that obvious.

Space under the steps transforms into a storeroom with a hidden door panel. At the same time, we built a display area for the client's beloved indoor plants.

The client prefers a clean, white, cozy, simple style for the whole Ground Floor design. Therefore, the majority color scheme remains white, but we use some black line and gold color items to add some highlight movement.

The extended wet kitchen area will have a rectangle skylight area in a concrete slab. We proposed to add a motorized roller blind below the skylight, so the client can allow the skylight to come into the wet kitchen area or block it.

We proposed a long and narrow sliding window for the hood and hob area to have more space for the wall-hung storage cabinet there.

The home care maid's sleeping and dressing areas were extended from the existing backyard's land. We use the semi-see-through sheer to replace the glass door, so the daycare maid can easily hear from the elderly if there are needs from her.

study area
Due to only two small bedrooms left for the three children, the two small girls will take the double-decker bedroom, and their walk-in closet will be under the study area.

This study area is a sharing study or working space for all family members.

foldable table & tatami platform
The bedroom's existing ceiling height is sufficient to have a double-decker bed design.
We apply tatami platform design to gain some ceiling height for the bottom bed area, and that area also can be a girl's talk area.

We designed a foldable table for makeup and study purpose. The table looks like a wall panel, and this design gains the walkway space when enclosed.

Below the tatami platform is also a storage area. A long drawer can maximize the storage area.

And a full height mirror in this room does help to create visual extension feeling and fulfilled the
the need of all ladies.
This double-decker room design successfully solved all they needed from the two little girls.
